Arriving by plain
There are several international direct flights to Humberto Delgado Airport (Lisbon International Airport - airport code LIS). At the airport, there is a subway station with connection to Santa Apolónia and Oriente train stations. At the train stations you can find trains directly to Tomar.
Alternatively, from Lisbon Airport, you can take a taxi or a bus to Santa Apolónia or Oriente train stations and from there take a train to Tomar.
Arriving by train

Arriving by car
To access Tomar by car from the Lisbon area take the highway A1 up to Torres Novas. Exit and take the highway A23 and then the highway A13.
If you come from Coimbra side, take the highway A13.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi or walk, since is not a long distance.
